This adjustable half-volume multi-nucli coil is driven in quadrature and is semi-flexible to maximize the filling factor and therefore assures optimal sensitivity. The coil is tuned to detect multiple nuclei. The version on the photo is double tuned to proton and carbon optimized for the human leg at 3T. It can be used for proton decoupling, polarisation transfer and NOE.
