An 8 channel Body Array transceiver coil suitable for 7T systems. The coil has 32 loop receivers to enable 40 channel signal reception.
The design is based on radiative antennas. The transmit is separated from the receiver to get an optimized B1+ per unit of local SAR, while maximizing sensitivity and accelleration.
This coil has a flexible wrap around mechanics with integrated foam for patient's comfort. Therefore it is easy to use around the body.
This comfortable coil is so far used for heart, liver and prostate measurements.
